Food-wise the Americas got primarily domesticated animals , cereals and such staple foods as coffee, sugarcane and bananas.
Horses - actually were not not introduced to the Americas by Columbus and the Europeans who followed, horses were brought back to the New World! That's probably why the American Mustang populated the prairies so fast or in reality re-populated.

Columbus sailed the ocean blue …
90% of the “New Continents” population wiped out by foreign diseases. Whole nations, or the “savage people”, as the “superior, civilized, peaceful” Spaniards liked to see it, gone forever, sometimes without a trace, sometimes with just empty ruins repossessed by “Mother Nature” to witness the first phase of the Columbian Exchange.
